Individual Therapy for Adults
I collaborate with individuals to understand the messages held in their emotions and bodies, heal past and present wounds, cultivate self-acceptance, build fulfilling relationships, discover practical strategies for managing life’s ups and downs, and find more connection, authenticity, balance, joy and peace. I offer support to adults experiencing challenges with:
Anxiety, stress, worry and burnout
Depression
Relationship issues, setting boundaries, communication
Infertility
Pregnancy and postpartum support
Parenting challenges
Vocation and work-life balance
Life transitions such as marriage, divorce, having kids, career changes, empty nest, retirement and aging
Grief and loss
Trauma
Childhood abuse
Personal growth and identity
Individual Therapy for Teens
Adolescence is a time of growth, change, and self-discovery, and therapy can provide needed support during this transformative period. I offer a safe, open space for teens to explore and express their thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and navigate challenges such as anxiety, identity, depression, low self-esteem, school issues, peer relationships, transitions, and family dynamics. I work with young people to understand themselves more deeply, feel empowered to make healthy choices, know their strengths, and foster emotional well-being, resilience, and a positive sense of self as they move into adulthood. I also have specialized experience working with youth who have been sexually exploited, are in foster care, or have been involved in the juvenile justice system.
Expressive Arts Therapy
The creative process can allow us to explore and express our experiences and inner world in embodied, whole-brain ways beyond talking and thinking. As an expressive arts therapist, I utilize art-making, imagery, music, movement/dance, writing, poetry, metaphor, and drama to support opportunities for self-discovery, emotional release, clarity, healing, growth, integration, problem solving, self-esteem building, and sometimes just bringing more lightness, play and fun to the therapy space. No artistic skills needed—just a willingness to engage in the creative process and explore in a safe and supportive environment.
“At the deepest level, the creative process and the healing process arise from a single source. When you are an artist, you are a healer; a wordless trust of the same mystery is the foundation of your work and its integrity.”

What to Expect
I offer virtual (telehealth) sessions. Sessions are conducted using an online video meeting platform, last about 50 minutes long, and are usually scheduled to repeat weekly at a time convenient for you. Sessions can also be scheduled more or less frequently depending on your needs. Please contact me for availability.
In our first few sessions, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what your hopes and goals are for our time together.
Good Faith Estimate/ No Surprises Act
In compliance with the No Surprises Act, if you will not be using your insurance to pay for sessions, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, mental health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the total expected charges for services, including psychotherapy services.
At the beginning of our work together, I will provide you with an estimate of the total expected cost of services based on the session fee over the course of a period of time (3 months, 6 month, 1 year, etc).
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
